Mattgraphy Frequently Asked Questions

Once you contact MATTGRAPHY, we discuss your project with you then create a detailed estimate based on that conversation to submit to you for approval. One you approve the estimate we collect a 50% deposit then we begin the project and submit to you for review. MATTGRAPHY completes any  necessary requested revisions and then submit the project back to you for review. Once you sign off on the final product, we deliver it to you via FILE GRAPHY and a final invoice is sent, with payment due within 30 days. The project is then archived for any future needs.

First we discuss your company needs, the targeted market, and uses for your logo. That helps us with samples of existing logos that you like or dislike so we can get an idea of your taste. Whether you have a design concept in mind or have no idea what you want, MATTGRAPHY make sure to collect enough information to allow us to succeed in bringing your logo to life and conveying your company’s message.

Icons are made to fit in squares (‘quadratic’) and consider the technical requirements of the application it is made for, while logos do not have shape restrictions. Because of this, logo designs allow more creativity in contrast to icon designs. A graphic is a design element, illustration or created image that, in advertising, supports a targeted message. An icon can be the identifying graphic in a logo or act on it’s own as a symbol or representation of an idea, person, place, thing, or service.

In general terms, graphic design is the process of visual communication through the use of typography, photography, iconography and illustration. The field is considered a subset of visual communication and communication design, but sometimes the term “graphic design” is used synonymously. Today’s graphic designers often use desktop publishing software and techniques to achieve their goals.

Yes! There are no geographic obstacles to working together, thanks to the web, e-mail, and video communications. Your requirements and revisions can be submitted by email or phone. Once we have agreed on your requirements and revisions, that information is used to create your designs. Intermediate design concepts and revisions are emailed to you for review, feedback, and final approval. Once your project is completed, final files are either posted for your download, uploaded to you or your printer or sent to you via FILE GRAPHY.
