Project overview
A University of South Alabama initiative identity that connects the transition from education to employment with a clear directional symbol.
Visual direction
The logo combines the actual path of South Drive with a graduation cap, linking the route to the Campus to Career office with the program’s purpose. Red, navy and white connect the emblem with the university setting.
Design in context
The identity presentation brings together apparel, business cards, a mug and stationery. The original caption also documents the design appearing around campus, grounding the concept in the designer’s own account of the project.
Logo design and visual identity
The identity is presented through its central mark, supporting typography and contrast treatments. These elements establish the visual hierarchy: the symbol creates recognition, the name identifies the brand, and the smaller descriptor supplies context. Viewing the artwork together makes it possible to assess the logo’s proportions and personality as a complete brand identity. The presentation keeps the design visible at its original aspect ratio so the details of the lettering and illustration can be appreciated.
