The City of Prichard website was designed to give residents a clearer path to the information, services, and resources they use most. The homepage brings high-priority actions forward and organizes city content around practical resident needs rather than requiring visitors to search through multiple layers of information.
Putting City Services First
A prominent Popular Services section gives residents direct access to common city tasks, including viewing City Council meetings and agendas, paying a bill, reporting a neighborhood problem, checking recycling and trash information, applying for a City job, and accessing permitting and inspection resources.
Report a Problem and Apply for a Permit are also positioned as major homepage actions, helping make two important service pathways immediately visible.
Connection and Transparency
The website creates several ways for residents to stay connected with City government. Visitors can find volunteer opportunities, view the City event calendar, subscribe for updates, apply for a board or commission, access City Council information, and locate City contact information.
